The faculty of IIT Delhi contributed a lot fo engineering and technology. So, the faculty members of IIT Delhi are selected as fellows of the Indian National Academy of Engineering, INAE 2020.
Five faculty members of the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi are selected as fellows of INAE 2020. The Director of IIT Delhi congratulated the faculty members for this achievement. He wrote that INAE selected the faculty members as fellows of the Indian National Academy of Engineering (INAE) 2020. They members contributed a lot in engineering and technology. He congratulated the members.

LIST OF SELECTED IIT DELHI FACULTY MEMBERS
As the fellows of INAE 2020, the administration selected five faculty members from the institute. They are Prof. Naveen Garg of Computer Science and Engineering, Kamal Kishore Pant of Chemical Engineering, Indra Narayan Kar of Electrical Engineering, Jayadeva of Electrical Engineering, and Suddhasatwa Basu of Chemical Engineering.
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA OF INAE
In order to select as a fellow of INAE, he/she should be a national citizen who has worked or maintained his/her position in India for the last five years or more. He/ She should have a significant contribution to the field of engineering and technology. There are many other eligibility criteria that the Academy has set for election to the fellowship. The professors should know about the criteria and follow it.

Moreover, IIT Delhi set up a ‘School of Artificial Intelligence.’ This school will provide a Ph.D. program to the students. From January 2021, the admission process will begin. The institution is also planning to provide Post-graduation courses also in the school.

The Indian National Academy of Engineering(INAE) was founded in 1987. It includes India’s most distinguished engineers, engineer-scientists, technologists who cover the entire spectrum of engineering disciplines. There are many activities of INAE. Some of them are programs on issues of technology policy and overall development for the benefit of society, and the Academy promotes research projects, pilot studies, engineering education, fellowships, scholarships, awards, and other benefactions. INAE conducts many seminars and workshops on the topics of current national importance.
