The result for the CA final exam for old and new course both will be released by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) on either 1 or 2 February 2021. For the exams held in November 2020, those who appeared in the exam will be able to check the results at icaiexam.icai.org i.e. at the official website of ICAI and also on caresults.icai.org, and icai.nic.in.
Merit list of up to the 50th rank will also be released along with the results on the official website.
Students can email their requirements at icaiexam.icai.org in case they wish to get their results at their official e-mail id. This facility is only available till 31 January. However, the results can be obtained only on the registered e-mail id with the ICAI. SMS facility can also be used to check the results. Those candidates who appeared for the final exam old syllabus will need to SMS CAFNLOLD <space> roll number whereas those who appeared as per the new syllabus in the final exam will have to SMS CAFNLNEW <space> roll number to 57575.
In November 2020, a total number of 471619 students had registered to appear for the CA exams and this number includes foundation, intermediate, and final students. The exam was conducted in around 1085 centers. A protest was also held by the students opposing the conducting of exams amidst a pandemic. Another window was made available to the candidates in January who were unable to attempt the exam citing reasons owing to the pandemic.
