GATE Registration 2022: Important alert for aspirants willing to apply for the GATE 2022 exam. Today, 28 September 2021 is the last date for registration for the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2022.
Let us inform you that IIT Kharagpur, the institute that performs the GATE 2022 exam, had earlier extended the deadline. Earlier it was from September 24 to September 28. However, the aspirants must note that they will be able to apply for the exam with a late fee by 1 October 2021.
On the other hand, IIT Kharagpur will issue information on 26 October 2021 to rectify the errors in the application of the aspirants who have applied for the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2022.
Also, the application correction window will be open till 1 November 2021 by the institute for error correction or correction in the GATE 2022 application.

However, even after this, aspirants will be able to improve their GATE 2022 application in paper or category or exam city till 12 November 2021. But they have to pay an additional fee for these improvements.
Aspirants should note that only one application has to be made for appearing in one or two papers. In the case of multiple applications, only one will be approved by IIT Kharagpur. The remaining applications will be dismissed without a refund of the fee paid.
WHAT IS THE APPLICATION FEE FOR GATE 2022 EXAM
The application fee for the GATE 2022 online registration form is Rs 1500 for each paper. Aspirants can pay fees online. However, SC, ST, and women nominees will have to pay a fee of Rs 750 only.
