The Indian Institute of Technology, IIT Bombay is going to start GATE 2021 from tomorrow. It will end on 14th February, 2021. IIT Bombay is conducting GATE 2021 as a center-based exam.
So, the institution has uploaded some of the instructions on the official website gate.iitb.ac.in. Students who are going to appear for IIT GATE 2021 can check the official website to read the instructions.

DOWNLOAD THE ADMIT CARD THROUGH GOAPS PORTAL
IIT Bombay have already released that admit card. So, students can download it by visiting the GOAPS portal. So, they have to enter their login credentials to download their admit card.

INSTRUCTIONS OF GATE 2021
More than 9 lakh students are going to appear for IIT GATE this year. So, some of the instructions that the institution released are:
- Firstly, students have to reach the examination center before the commencement of the exam.
- While standing at the entrance gate of the examination center, they have to be in a queue and follow the floor Marks.
- The authorities will check the temperature of students. If any student’s body temperature is above 99.4 degrees Fahrenheit, he or she have to appear for the GATE in an isolated area in the examination center.
- Students have to leave the examination center in an orderly manner when the exam will finish.
- They have to carry their mask, sanitizer, admit card, pen, transparent water bottle, and other documents at the examination center.
- Maintaining social distancing is mandatory.
- Lastly, students have to drop their admit card and rough pad on the dropbox available at the examination center.
CHANGES IN GATE 2021
IIT Bombay made two changes in GATE 2021. Firstly, it introduced new subjects. Secondly, it waived off the eligibility criteria.
So, the total number of subjects is 27 and new subjects are Environmental Science and Engineering (ES) and Humanities and Social Science (XS).
