Students are demanding to postpone JEE Mains and NEET exams. On Tuesday, the Union Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal said Supreme Court dismissed the petition of the cancellation of two entrance exams and it should be respected.

EDUCATION MINISTER CANNOT HALT ACADEMIC FUTURE OF STUDENTS

Dr. Ramesh Pokhriyal in an interview said that the academic future of students cannot be halted for a longer period of time. Life must get back to normal.

EDUCATION MINISTER SAID THAT MAXIMUM STUDENTS HAVE DOWNLOADED THEIR ADMIT CARDS

He said the statement of the Supreme court that student’s lives cannot be kept hanging for a longer period of time. Their academic year cannot be wasted. Ramesh Pokhriyal further said that out of 8 lakh students of JEE Mains, 7.25 lakh students have already downloaded their admit cards. They all are ready to write their tests that why they have downloaded admit cards.

 

Students have refused to give NEET and the JEE exams. But, the National Testing Agency said that they will conduct an exam as per the scheduled time. Now students are planning to protest from their home to fulfill their demands. Students are urging to either cancel exams or postpone them.

NTA ALLOWED STUDENTS TO CHANGE THEIR EXAM CENTER

Students will raise black flags, tie black bands on arm or forehead, wear black masks, and turn their profile pictures black.
The National Testing Agency allowed students to change their exam center multiple times. That’s why around 400 students requested to change their center.

The authority will follow all social distancing norms while conducting exams. Students will sit in alternative seats for the JEE Mains exams. For NEET exams, the number of students per room is reduced to 12 from 24. Staggered entry will be held while students enter and exit the exam center. There are many advisory guidelines are issued to maintain social distancing.
