The race for applications for admission to undergraduate courses in Delhi University is on. Many applicants have applied on the admission portal. But many applicants are confused about their marks. It is being advised time and again by the administration that they can calculate the marks from the online calculator. This will give them an idea of their cut off and it will be easy for them to take admission at the time of commencement of the admission process.
The facility of an online calculator has been given to the students at the time of application on the DU admission portal. DU started this facility in 2019-20. In this online calculator, students can enter their best-3 or best-4 marks and get their overall percentage.
Dean Student Welfare Prof Rajeev Gupta said that in this calculator, students can enter their marks and see what their percentage is. With this, they will get an idea even after coming to the cut-off whether they are eligible for admission according to the cut-off of any college or not. Students do not have to calculate on their own.
With the online calculator, the student will know how much percentage is being created for which subject. With this facility, there will be uniformity in the calculation of marks. After reaching the cut-off, students try to take admission by calculating the marks themselves but at the time of admission, it is found that they are not coming in the cut-off. It is noteworthy that in the science courses from the best three, he gets admission in other courses from the best-4.
