First Semester FYUP Syllabus: Executive Council of Delhi University has given its approval to the four-year undergraduate programs (FYUP) syllabus. The first-semester FYUP syllabus is based on the newly Undergraduate Curriculum Framework (UGCF) 2022.

As per the official statement, the University of Delhi will implement the newly introduced curriculum from the new academic session 2022-23. Moreover, this syllabus was put in front of the Executive Council on 3 August 2022. This was put after the approval from the DU Academic Council.

First semester FYUP syllabus for 72 UG programs approved

The seventy-two UG programs have been approved by the DU Executive Council. These courses include B.Sc (Honors) Biomedical Science, B.Sc (Honours) Instrumentation, B.Sc (Honours) and Microbiology. Also, BA (Honours) Applied Psychology, BA (Honours) Multimedia and Mass Communication, Bachelor of Management Studies and more. 

Besides, other 24 value additional programs have been accredited for the 1st semester of the four-year year UG program. Further AEC includes Environmental Science programs. And, around 22 Indian language courses allow students to choose their desired language.

Students need to choose from value addition programs such as Constitutional Values and Fundamental Duties, Indian knowledge system, Yoga and Philosophy and the like. 

Recently, DU announced its plan to initiate an internal assessment into distance or open learning courses from the running academic session 2022-23. Currently, the internal assessment system is only pertinent in the regular course of DU. However, probably from the 2022-23 session, SOL students will do internal assessments just like regular college students.
