The DU exams, in the open book format, are scheduled to begin from August 10. The mock tests for these examinations are set to begin from today for the UG, PG final semester/year students. These mock tests are being conducted to familiarize the students with the new pattern of the exams.

Earlier, the exams were supposed to begin from July 10, which were postponed. The mock test conducted for the earlier examination was reportedly full of glitches. Many complaints regarding it were received by the HRD Ministry and UGC form the teachers and students.

This matter has now reached the Delhi High Court. The examination branch of DU is on high alert regarding the preparedness of conducting exams. The mock tests are scheduled to be conducted in 2 phases.

DU EXAMS: DU EXAMINATION CASE TO BE HEARD ON JULY 30

The first phase will be for the UG and PG programs of regular, SOL, and NCWEB students. The first phase will be from July 27 to July 29. These will be conducted in three sessions- 7:30 to 10:30, 11:30 to 2:30, and 3:30 to 6:30.
To appear in the mock test, you have to log in to the open-book exam portal and select your subject stream. The second phase of the mock test will be from August 1 to 4.
