DU Admissions 2021: On Monday, Delhi University released the special cut-off. The objective of releasing a special cut-off is to fill the vacant seats in various undergraduate courses. Moreover, the candidates who are eligible but couldn’t take admission earlier due to any valid reason can apply to it.
The admission under special cut-off started from 26 October, 10 AM. And, the last date to apply is 27 October, 11:59 PM. Though, students can pay the fees by 29 October, 5 PM. Therefore, eligible candidates who want to apply can visit the DU’s official website du.ac.in.
As per the university, “The special cut-off is the last announced cut-off list of the respective program and college. Moreover, declaration of special cut-offs is subject to availability of seats in program and college.” However, under the first three merit lists, more than 60,000 seats have been filled up. Till now the Delhi University has received 1.7 lakh applications.

DU ADMISSIONS 2021: HOW TO APPLY?
- Visit the official website du.ac.in.
- Select college, course, and upload required documents.
- The college will verify the documents. Then, after the application approval, pay the admission fee.
- In case the candidate couldn’t make the payments on time. Then candidates have to cancel the application and reapply in a different round.
- After the completion, download and take a printout for future use.
Further, the documents required to secure the admission include the class 10 Marksheet and Board Examination Certificate; class 12 Marksheet, and provisional certificate. Also includes a Migration and Transfer Certificate; two passport size self-attested photographs. Moreover, if candidates belong to SC/ST/PWD/CW/KM or OBC (non-creamy layer) require a category certificate.
