The Delhi University declared that the last date to fill the online DU admission form has been extended till 31 August. However, Samir Ranjan Das has requested Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank, Union education minister to further extend the last date of mark sheets submission.

Das said Nishank, the Council of Higher Secondary Education was not able to declare the results even after sincere efforts. He guarantees that the principal will declare the results of the humanities stream (Class XII) by the first week of September.

Moreover, the applicants of the Odisha CHSE board won’t have the option to present their imprint sheets by August 31. However, numerous commendable students from the state won’t have the option to take part in the merit-based confirmation for the year 2020. Therefore, they request the Delhi University to extend the last date of DU admission form submission.

School and mass education minister Samir Ranjan Das wrote to Nishank. He demands Union education minister to mercifully intercede in the issue. And request the University to broaden the DU admission form submission date by one more week.

However, the state was going to declare the results of Class 12th for humanities by the end of August. But the council was in isolation as 2 officers of CHSE tested positive for Covid-19. Therefore, the declaration of results was postponed to the first week of September. The staff members have to remain in home isolation.
