After a long break from the COVID-19 pandemic, Delhi University is going to reopen again. The varsity is going to reopen the campus for just DU final year students.
Only those students who need the lab facilities and other practical work would be coming back to the college campus. But, the varsity has set certain rules and regulations for the students. Not more than 50 percent of students of total strength can come to college.
The college authorities will have proper arrangements of isolation for students with COVID-19 symptoms. On the other hand, students in contact with the infected person have to be in quarantine.
OTHER CLASSES WILL RUN ONLINE
Counselors will come for regular visits to the college campus. The college authority would not allow entry of all the students. Only those students can teach the college campus who have their practical class, or have some laboratory work. Moreover, students who want to issue any book can access to library facilities. Other classes will run online.
DU FINAL YEAR STUDENTS CAN ACCESS THE FACILITIES IN FEBRUARY AND MARCH
If any student wants to come to college for his or her practical work, he or she has to inform any teacher of the college authorities for a prior appointment. Students can come voluntarily and the colleges would provide this facility to DU final year students from 1st February to 31st March.

TASKS THAT AUTHORITY HAVE TO COMPLETE BEFORE DU FINAL YEAR STUDENTS COME TO COLLEGE
Delhi University has set some rules and asked the DU Colleges to complete some tasks before reopening. Teachers and non-teaching staff would be under training and complete their preparation in January. They have to complete their mock-drill sessions in January. On the other hand, they have to share the schedule with the Dean students’ welfare office.
PROVIDE THE DETAILS OF COVID-19 TASK FORCE
Every college would have a COVID-19 task group and at least one senior group member would be present. The college authorities have to share the contact details of all the members of the task force on any notice or editorial board and its official website.
