On 14 June 2023, Delhi University launched separate CSAS portals for UG and PG admissions. During the conference, Vice-Chancellor (VC) Yogesh Singh admits that the University of Delhi is going to set up a new medical College and is working on the establishment of its medical College.

Earlier, Delhi University launched three new BTech courses for the 2023-24 Academic session. These courses include  BTech computer science, BTech electronics, and communication engineering, and Btech electrical engineering. Students get admission based on their JEE Mains exam.

Likewise, Delhi University is ready to launch a new medical college that is completely developed and provides speciality courses to students. At this time, Vallabhai Patel Chest Hospital provides specialized courses to the students of the University of Delhi.

DU APPROVES NEW RULES FOR DOCTORATE COURSES

Further, Vice-Chancellor Yogesh Singh said that “We are working on building the infrastructure, and in due course, we will add some new courses. We have to wait at least one year to make them a completely developed institute”.  

However, admissions to medical Colleges will be held through the NEET exam. Therefore, Delhi University confessed that they will work on the establishment of a new MBBS college. More details about this will come soon. 

DU provides a total of 71,000 seats for 78 undergraduate programmes. The first phase of the Delhi University UG admission is underway and the second phase will start soon.
