Start of the Exam

The exams began at 9.30 am, but there was a surprise waiting for the students. When they got their question papers, it said Semester I on the first page. This confused everyone because they were expecting questions from their normal syllabus. More than half the questions were also not what they had studied.

Big Surprise!

Siddhant Sinha, a student from Hindu College, shared that even though the confusion was there, they were told to start the exam. After two hours of writing, they got another shock. It turns out there was a mistake in giving out the question papers. So, the students had to start all over again with new papers. The exam that was supposed to end by 12.30 pm now went on until 2.30 pm.

Why Was It Hard for Students?

Imagine sitting in an exam hall for five hours without a break! They were not allowed to leave the hall or even tell their parents about the problem. One student from Sri Venkateswara College said, “Most questions were from Semester I, which we had studied two years ago and did not remember. Our performance was seriously affected.”

No Time to Prepare!

The confusion didn’t end there. The students had another exam on December 28, just two days later. With all the trouble on the 26th, they had very little time to prepare for the next exam. It was a lot of stress for these students.

Why It Matters

This whole mix-up makes us think about how exams are done. Exams should be fair and not make students go through so much stress. The mistake in giving out question papers not only messed up that day but also made it hard for students to get ready for their next exam.

What Can Be Better

When things like this happen, it shows that something needs to change. The people who organize exams should make sure everything is double-checked so that students don’t face these kinds of problems. Also, when there is a mistake, students should be given some extra time to get ready for the next exam.

In Simple Words

Imagine you are playing a game, and suddenly the rules change. That’s what happened to these students during their exams. It wasn’t fair, and it made everything confusing and hard for them. Exams should be like fair games where everyone gets a chance without any surprises.

Conclusion

In the end, what happened at Delhi University exam postponed was not good for the students. They had a tough time in their exams because of a mix-up in question papers. This makes us think about how exams are done and if there’s a better way to make sure everything goes smoothly for the students. We hope the people in charge learn from this and make exams better for everyone.
