CUET Common counseling portal

M Jagadesh Mamidala, Chairman of the University Grants Commission (UGC) said that CUET UG common counseling portal can be launched next year. Therefore, candidates will have not to apply on several portals for undergraduate admissions.

According to the UGC Chairman, this initiative is to simplify the admission process for students. However, such implementation will take time.

He said, “Once the portal is launched, the admission process to central universities will get easier for students to apply or register.”

DU UG admission 2023: 2.91 lakh registrations and 69,251 applications received

The admission process through a CUET common counseling portal will be taken under the supervision of a panel consisting of members from various universities. This will be done to ensure efficiency and a faster process.

Common University Entrance Test (CUET) UG result 2023 was announced on 15 July. Whereas the CUET PG result was announced on 20 July 2023. This year, more than 19 lakh students registered for the CUET UG exams. This is a huge increase compared to last year’s numbers. 

Besides, Delhi University has started the admission process phase 2 by launching the CSAS portal. And, today was the last day to register for the phase 2 admission process. Further, the first admission allotment list will release on 2 August 2023 on the official website.
