Tushar Singh topped CBSE class 12th exams by scoring 500/500 on Monday. He said that CBSE should not provide full marks in English.

‘I don’t think one should get full marks in English because no letter or essay can be perfect’, he said. He scored full marks in all his five subjects. The subjects were- English, History, Political Science, Geography, and Physical Education.

He along with Divyanshi Jain topped CBSE board. She scored 600/600 in all her subjects.

Plopping an end to the long wait of students, the CBSE on Monday announced the Class 12 results on its official website. Notably, a staggering 38,686 class 12 students across the country scored above 95%.

Interestingly, girls have exceeded the boys in the class 12 examination this year. Girls surpassed boys by 5.96 percent. While the pass proportion of girls is 92.15 percent, that of boys is 86.19percentt, this year. The transgenders have recorded a pass percentage of 66.67 percent.

The general pass percentage improved by 5.38percentt as against last year. While 83.40percentt of students had cleared the exams last year, 88.78 percent of students have cleared the exam this year.

Over 1.57 lakh students have achieved above 90 percent, while over 38,000 have marked more than 95 percent marks. A total of 11.92 lakh competitors had appeared for the class 12 examination.

The Trivandrum region reported the highest pass percentage at 97.67 while the Patna region listed the lowest at 74.57 percent.

After declaring openly the class 12 board results, CBSE began its annual post-resulted-counseling. The facility will be accessible until July 27. Students and parents can put forward their queries associated with the class 10 and class 12 board results via telephone, IVRD and textual counseling. The assistance can be availed from 9:30 am to 5:30 pm.
