The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has given the option of changing the examination center to the students of class X and XII in the session 2020-21 because of the Corona epidemic. According to the notification issued by CBSE, if any candidate is not present in their city due to the corona epidemic and is unable to come to the allotted examination center, then in this case they can change the center of practical and theoretical examination.
For this, students will have to request the school to change the examination center. Also, students will have to inform the school where they want the exam center.
The student will have to inform the school by 25 March to change the allotted examination center. Online applications will be accepted for this only. If a student wants a second examination center in his city, he can also apply. The final decision in this regard will be made by the CBSE board.
If students want to change the center of both theoretical and practical examinations, they can also apply. They will be given center by the board for both exams separately in the school. The board has also allowed CBSE examinees from other countries to change centers.
The Central Board of Secondary Education has given instructions to all the schools that while uploading the marks of the candidates who will change the examination center, the schools will have to write the transfer in front of the student’s roll number and name while uploading their marks.
Moreover, CBSE tenth board exam will be held from May 4 to June 7, 2021. At the same time, the board exams for class XII will be held from 4 May to 14 June 2021.
According to CBSE, students will get their results from their own regional office. Regardless of whether students take the board examination from any city or center, their results will be published only from the regional office.
