Students afraid of returning to Afghanistan

The current crisis brewing in Afghanistan with the Taliban gaining increasing ground is making Afghan students who have almost completed their courses here afraid of returning to their country.

Currently, 12-13 Afghan students are studying at JNU. Of them, three secured admissions last year but are unable to attend campus classes as they couldn’t avail visas. Some are waiting for a visa extension as their courses are coming to a close.
