Delhi University has already released the first cut-off list for DU admission 2021 on October 1. Observing the peak of the cut-off list, the varsity has little to offer students with 80 to 90 percent marks. This year, all the colleges have asked the students to get admission who scored more than 90 percent marks.

On the other hand, 10 courses have approved students with an exact 100 percentage. More than 87000 students applied to Delhi University for DU admission 2021. However, the students have secured from 80 to 90 percent. B.Sc. Honors Home Science, B.Sc. Electronics are some of the DU courses in the science stream that students chose.

DU FIRST CUT-OFF LIST OF SCIENCE STREAM OFFERING ADMISSIONS FROM 80-90%

Bhagini Nivedita College is one of the colleges of Delhi University that has set the percentage for B.Sc. Home Science to 86 this year. However, for B.Sc. Physical Science with Chemistry and with Computer, the cut-off is set to 80 percent. For both the subjects, the cut-off was not more than 78 percent till last year.

For B.Sc. Applied Physical Science with Industrial Chemistry, Deshbandhu College has set the cut-off to 89 percent. It is the only course of Deshbandhu College that will admit students below 90 percent marks. Rajguru College of Applied Sciences for Women offers B.Sc. Honors Instrumentation to the students. The college has set the DU’s first cut-off list for that course to 87 percent. It is one percent less than last year.

DU aspirants who want to get admission in the humanities stream have courses like B.A. Honors Social Work. And BA Honors Philosophy. Aditi Mahavidyalaya has set DU first cut-off list for BA Honors Social Work to 84 percent.

Most of the DU colleges have set the cut-off list at more than 90 percent marks for BA honors Philosophy. But Shyama Prasad Mukherjee College has set it to 86 percent. Moreover, Laxmibai College and Mata Sundri College are offering it at 87 and 88 percent respectively.

DU SECOND CUT-OFF LIST FOR DU ADMISSION 2021 MAY BE SLIGHTLY REASONABLE

Hem Chand Jain is the Principal of Deen Dayal Upadhyaya College. He motivated the students and said that students might get a chance in the second and third cut-off list. Because of the improved rankings, Delhi University has set the DU’s first cut-off list so high. The next cut-off is likely to be slightly reasonable. So, students must not lose their hopes.
