#YOUNGWARRIOR CAMPAIGN: To collectively engage five million young people in the ongoing combat against the COVID-19 crisis, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has initiated a pan-Indian movement. Aimed to impact 50 million people across the country, the movement is named “Young Warrior”. The board aims to help the youth in assuming a leadership role during a global pandemic. The board aims to instill a sense of strong leadership skills, social consciousness as well as empathy amongst the youth.
CBSE released an official statement saying that the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, YuWaah-UNICEF along with Central Board of Secondary Education and a multi-stakeholder consortium of around (over) will collectively activate the #YoungWarrior movement. #YoungWarrior movement is a nationwide movement that aims to engage 5 million young people. These 5 Million youngsters will lead action against COVID-19 and will eventually impact 50 Million people.
Anyone between the age of 10 to 30 years (both teachers as well as students) are free to join the movement. They can involve themselves in this initiative and safeguard themselves, their families, their communities, and the country.

HOW CAN YOU JOIN #YoungWarrior MOVEMENT?
If you are interested to join the CBSE young warrior movement, you can follow the steps mentioned below:
step 1: Via WhatsApp: You need to type YWA and then send it to +9196504 14141 OR you can also give a missed call to 080-66019225.
step 2: Once you have joined the Movement, you can also motivate other 10 people around you (in the age group of 10-30 years) to join this movement.
step 3: By posting a message with the phrase ‘I am a #youngwarrior’ on social media, and by tagging 5 friends, pledge to take action against COVID-19.
A series of easy and real-life tasks will be a part of this engagement and the #youngwarrior will earn a certificate through these actions.
These actions include myth-busting, COVID-appropriate behaviors, health and essential services, vaccine registration, etc. To protect themselves, their families, and their neighborhood against COVID-19, these tasks will be hosted in 10 regional languages.
