At IIT Kanpur, students are coming forward to promote education, research, and technology. they made several donations over six years. During the Corona period, not only in the country but around the world, when the economic movement slowed, they resorted to the institution.

In the current financial year, so far, Rs. 21 crores has been supported by the students, while it is estimated to reach 25 crores by March. These students have been to other countries including India, the USA, Germany, Australia, England, Korea, Japan. The students’ funds will be used to build new departments, build laboratories, and research.

Many buildings and parks have been built till now. To develop online education for the first time in the era of Covid-19, laptops, and broadband were furnished to nearly 400 students in the BTech first year. This economic union was around 2.5 crores.

This will help in the School of Medical Sciences. Class of 1992 has given an assurance of Rs 20 crore for the construction of the proposed School of Medical Sciences at the institute.

They also assured that the medical center will be constructed by Rahul Mehta Foundation for two million dollars. At the same time, many students have come forward to help build the partnership between the energy and cognitive science departments.
