DU Entrance exam 2018

Delhi University intends to move towards entrance exams 2018 to continue the intake of students for courses each year in a more systematic way. In an approach to move further towards the decision, online du entrance exams 2018 for nine undergraduate courses are likely to be held in May. The list also includes BA (H) music, a rather young course that was added last year.

Following the tradition of every year, the university will conduct online exam for its flagship 5-year integrated journalism course at Delhi School of Journalism (DSJ) along with others. Last year, DSJ had invited applications for its Hindi and English journalism courses. The tests were conducted at 18 centers across the country in August. “This year too, we will have entrances in all these centers,” said the center’s officer on special duty, Manasvini Yogi.

For other undergraduate courses, the admission process will continue on the basis of cutoffs- as it has always been. It is also presumed that Cutoff is likely to decrease this year.  Meanwhile, the online exams will be held for following courses:

  1. Business
  • Bachelor of Management Studies (BMS)
  • BA Business Economics
  • Bachelor of Business Administration (Financial Investment Analysis)
  1. Science and Technology
  • Bachelor of Science in physical education health education & sports
  • B Tech (Information Technology and Mathematical Innovations)
  1. Education
  • Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed)
  1. B.A.(Hons.)
  • B.A.(H.) Multimedia and Mass Communication
  • B.A.(H.) Music

Also, above-listed courses do not have high cut-offs and could also be beneficial for those looking for Admissions in DU this year

However, the date for the registration for these courses has not been decided yet. “A committee formed to discuss the online entrance exams is yet to finalize the exact dates, but it is likely that it will happen around May-end,” a DU official said on condition of anonymity.
