Alumni of Atma Ram Sanatan Dharma College under Delhi University, Yashdeep Chahal has secured the first position in the Delhi Judicial Service Examination, 2020. Recently, the results of the interview were released, with Yashdeep Chahal taking the first rank. Yashdeep Chahal originally hails from village Harigarh in the Jind district of Haryana. At present, his family lives in Sector-7, Panipat.

Yashdeep told that his initial education was from Diksha Kurukshetra. He had also interviewed for the NDA after passing the 12th and was also selected here, but could not join due to some reasons. Later, he enrolled in BSc Honors from Physics (2013-2016 batch) at Atmaram Sanatan Dharma College, DU.

Yashdeep, in turn, started participating in world-class debating competitions. He was introduced to the experts of various disciplines here, read the specifics of the law, and started writing articles on various issues. It can be said that these debate competitions paved the way for the study of law.

Yashdeep also did LLB from DU itself in 2016-19. After completing his law studies, Yashdeep started working as a Judicial Research Associate in the Supreme Court. Along with working there, he also started preparing for judicial service. Yashdeep told that in 2019 Delhi appeared in the Judicial Services Examination.

he said, “The result had already come, in which I was ranked first, but due to the nationwide lockdown, the interview process was delayed. The interview was held in December last year, the result of which was released in the past.” Yashdeep also holds the first rank in this. Yashdeep will now make a fresh start to his career as a judge. Yashdeep says that service to the public is a priority.
