Delhi University organised the workshop value addition courses in collaboration with Sri Venkateshwara College. The courses include “Yoga: Philosophy and Practice”, “Social and Emotional Learning” and “Literature, Culture, and Cinema”.

The chief guest of the event was Shri Suresh Jain, National Organization Secretary of Bharat Vikas Parishad who also gave a valuable speech. He talked about the need for values in education as well as in society. He also discussed the role of mothers and teachers in making a great and recognised nation.  

Further, he focused on Swami Vivekananda, Ramakrishna Paramhansa, Sister Nivedita, and Chapekar Bandhu’s contributions to maintaining the culture and tradition of the nation. And, he highlighted the importance of education as it helps in the development of ethics, values and overall character. 

Moreover, he said a few words on the value addition course efforts in making the event successful. He said that we need to change society as per the requirements of society and time.

Shri Vishnu Prakash Tripathi, Executive Editor of Dainik Jagran Group came as a Guest of Honor, he discussed the benefits of Value Enrichment Courses. Additionally, he said that these courses play a key role in the mission of Indian Knowledge resurgence. 

Moreover, during the workshop on value addition courses, he emphasised the new National Education Policy (NEP) in the nation’s education system. These are changes that future generations will be most benefited from and grateful for.
