Free education to the needy is something which is demanded by many, but how many of us take any steps by ourselves ?

Manish Sathpati, a woman who actually stepped forward to ensure the same. She is providing free education to the tribal children in Bhubaneshwar.

Sathpati told the reporters that it was a slum area where mainly the daily wage workers resided. She also added that the government runs many schemes for these people but they did not want to leave the place. She thought the maybe if she taught them there only then they might develop interest in studies.

Sathpati shared that as of now, 40 Students study under her. They study English, Oriya, General Knowledge and Maths in one year. She also teaches them dance twice a week. She shares that her students also have immense interest in singing, dance, drawing.

Some of her students aspire to become doctor, some aspire to be model or actors. Sathpati inspires them and advices them to study so that they can achieve their dreams and goals.

Talking of challenges, Manshi said that they have to generate interest for studies in the students by giving them small rewards like biscuits and chocolates so that they get interested and put more efforts into it.
