The Indrani Balan Foundation, which has been taken by 10 schools founded by the army in Jammu&Kashmir. It would determine terror-affected families in the Union Territory and support their children’s education.

The foundation seeks to reconstruct the lives of children. The children whose education have threatened by drugs and pop militancy in the valley said its chairman.

The Indrani Balan Foundation aims to finance the victims of terrorism. For all these children who are pompous by such incidents. The basic difficulty they encounter is that of education. We will determine terrorism-affected families and sponsor their children’s complete education. Convicting the slayings by militants and the havoc they cause to families, comprising leaving children orphaned.

Balan said the foundation became engaged because it desired to support these children as much as possible. Balan is the first non-Jammu and Kashmir entrepreneur. It started working on children’s education and other growth projects. His objective is to deliver free education to the children of Kashmir. Similar initiatives have been undertaken in other states. We selected Jammu&Kashmir because we think that somebody should take the lead.

The foundation has brought the lead in the ‘Nation First’ ambition for the education of Kashmiri children. It has been operating 10 schools inaugurated by the Indian Army in high-militancy areas — Baramulla, Kupwara, Anantnag, Pehelgam, Pulwama, Shopian, Uri, Trehgam, and Gurez.

It helped the Dagger School for Special Children in Baramulla with technical, educational, and financial support.

The group had endorsed Kashmiri athletes to contend on international occasions. The foundation has funded roughly 5,000 such youths from the Valley.

Umar Ahmed, who played kho-kho for Mumbai Khiladi with help from the foundation said, “I am incredibly grateful for the army and Punit Balan’s group. I have helped this alliance and they delivered me with all probable support to serve my country.”
