The Director of Education of Delhi uploaded a video on social media guiding students at Government School who are going to appear for Board 2021. He said to willingly fill the sheets even if you do not know the answer.

He guided the students to fill the sheet irrespective of the right answer because teachers will mark the students based on their filled sheet. So, this video has resulted in many controversies on social media.

He said while interacting with students that the Central Board of Secondary Education, CBSE will grant marks to students if they write something in the answer sheet.

So, students have to fill the answer sheet as long as their can. If they don’t know any answer to any question, they can even copy the previous answer but don’t have to leave the sheet blank.

THE SPEECH FOR BOARD 2021 WAS IN ANOTHER CONTEXT

Teachers will mark the students if their answer sheets are filled. So, if a student writes something, he or she will be marked. However, a senior official from PTI said that the speech of the Education Minister was out of context.

This year, board exams are going to be held in May. The exams will begin from 4th May and continue till 10th June. Students have to follow all the social distancing norms in the examination center. The academic year was regulated online but the authorities will take exams in offline mode. However, they have cut some parts of the syllabus of classes 10 and 12 so that students may not have to suffer due to academic loss and global pandemic.
