KANGANA RANAUT TWITTER account has been permanently suspended by the microblogging platform Twitter. A spokesperson from Twitter’s side informed that Kangana Ranaut Twitter has been suspended permanently on the account of repeated violation of Twitter rules.
This move was followed by a tweet which the actor made about the West Bengal elections. She commented on the alleged violence in West Bengal which followed the election results in the state. Reportedly, she made several tweets inciting violence and spreading hatred.
In one of her tweets, the actor also commented on the victory of the Trinamool Congress and the return of Mamta Banerjee led Trinamool Congress for the third consecutive term.
Kangana further went on to give statements against the Twitter platform itself citing her claims that the platform was run by people who are Americans and whites by birth and thus they intend to enslave the brown community and dominate their thought process, speech and actions. She said, she has many other platforms to raise her voice and that her art in the form of cinema is her biggest tool.
The actor also posted a video on Instagram retaliating the Kangana Ranaut Twitter suspension and titled it to be distressing and that it was the death of democracy. She referred to it as an important message to the government. She went on to appeal for president rule in West Bengal.
