Some CBSE schools are conducting online practical exams for the students. Not more than 2 months are left for the students to appear for their practical exams before Board Exams 2021. But, parents said that unless students get this chance to learn and do the experiments themselves physically, it will be difficult for them to take practical exams.
Students also want that schools should conduct practical exams physically. Prashanth P is one of the parents and his child is studying in a private school. He said that practical exams would begin by the end of January in his son’s school. But, he is not sure that a month would be sufficient to complete all the practical work.

Some teachers teaching in CBSE schools said that they will not teach every experiment to the students. They will teach some important ones so that students can perform them in the exam.

A teacher of science stream said that except a few top schools, teachers in other schools are not equipped to teach all the experiments within a month. They will teach some important experiments to the students and make sure that every student knows how to perform it.
SCHOOLS WILL RESUME AFTER SANKRANTHI VACATION
Some schools will continue practical classes after the Sankranthi vacation. They would complete the syllabus in a week or two. Simi Nagi is the Principal of Pallavi Model School, Alwal. She said that students have seen their teachers and classmates doing experiments in live classes and they have submitted their records.

So, teachers will complete the syllabus in a week or two after practical classes begin. On the other hand, those schools that have not submitted the record might not complete the syllabus on time.
