Airborne transmission

You may have heard about ‘airborne transmission’ many times during this corona period, but do you know what this airborne transmission is after all? Actually, to put it simply, airborne transmission is called Coronavirus in the air and spread through it. At the beginning of the corona epidemic, scientists of many countries had claimed that the coronavirus is also spread through the air. Although there was not enough evidence at that time, so the World Health Organization did not pay any special attention to it, but now a new study of ‘The Lancet’ has claimed that the coronavirus spreads in the air and evidence has also been offered to prove that.

The spread of the coronavirus has generally been recognized that it spreads through droplets coming out of the nose or mouth or touching infected surfaces while coughing, sneezing, or speaking to the infected patient, but the new study states that it is easier to spread through airborne, or airborne than droplets. In the course of the study, it has been found that the infection spread without people staying in each other’s adjacent rooms in the Quarantine hotels.

What does airborne really mean?
However, Dr. Faheem Younus of the Maryland School of Medicine said in a tweet that airborne transmission does not mean that the outside air has been contaminated with the virus, but rather that the virus may be present in the air, especially Indoor environment, that is, in a closed room, and it can pose danger. Actually, the reason is that air does not flow in the closed room, as it does in the open. Such air remains stagnant and becomes contaminated, which also infects other people.

Experts say that the cause of infection can be the air in which the coronavirus is present. Although there is a possibility of infection spreading in the hospital, hotel environment, there is no such possibility in the open or fresh air. However, to say this clearly, further research is still needed.

Can I roam without a mask?

Dr. Fahim Younus has stated through a tweet that the park or the beach, that is, the seashore can also be roamed without a mask, these are safe places, but during this time one must keep in mind the safe physical distance, that is, from each other. A distance of six feet has to be maintained.
