CHALLENGES SHOULD BE FACED TOGETHER BY TEACHERS AND STUDENTS

Technology-based education is obviously the future to look forward to. But will this change be for the betterment? How smooth this transition would be? It is not easy to suddenly get transformed in some other way. So all the challenges should be met all together by the teachers and students. But challenges would arise only by efforts. Once students and teachers become aware of all the challenges to be met in the future, it would be easier for them as well as for the government to focus on the key areas. Apart, the corporate sector has been negatively impacted due to COVID-19.

COMPANIES ARE RESCINDING INTERNSHIP AND JOB OPPORTUNITIES

All the opportunities that are always given to the students to enter into the corporate world vanished. Companies are rescinding internship opportunities and a job offer from the students after such a huge impact. Government institutions and Universities should provide new opportunities to the students and due recognition should be given. There are many students that do not wish to go directly to the corporate sector but wish to start something of their own. They want to establish their own firm and be an entrepreneur. But as it is obvious to say that it contains a lot of risks, it does not mean that those students should not be supported.

WHAT IS THE ROLE OF GOVERNMENT?

Governments and universities should motivate those students and make some policies for them. Government institutions should support the entrepreneurial ecosystem within the campus and set up more innovation and incubation centers to pursue startup ideas. As some students were going to enter the company of their choice and take the first step towards their carrier, they are not able to find many opportunities. In fact, many private institutions are struggling for the students to provide them placement offers from companies. It is becoming difficult for them to get companies with vacancies as many of them have rescinded their offers given to the students.

NEGATIVE IMPACT OF CORONAVIRUS CRISES

This coronavirus crises put a lot of negative impacts on the corporate sector. In the technical stream as well as the management stream, students are required to do internships in industries as a part of the course requirement and building up their skills. Would it be possible for the students to get internship opportunities when the institutions and industries are closed due to lockdown? Some industries are going to reopen in a course of time, but would they be able to work with the same productivity and provides the same opportunities. This phase is very difficult for all the sectors. As the world economy would slow down, this phase will pay a huge impact both on the corporate sector as well as the education sector.
