VITEEE 2021, scheduled to be held from 18 June 2021 to 26 June 2021, is under high chances of getting canceled or postponed due to the CBSE 12th Exams 2021 getting postponed. Due to the unprecedented pandemic condition and widespread new variants of Corona Virus, the Central Board of Secondary Education has canceled the class 10th exams and postponed class 12th Board exams 2021.
Now the VITEEE 2021 may get delayed even further as the class 12th CBSE board exams are expected to be conducted in June. Only after the conclusion of board exams, the entrance exam will probably be conducted.
VIT University, till now, hasn’t confirmed anything officially yet. There is no official confirmation about the VITEEE 2021, whether it will get postponed or canceled or be conducted on the scheduled exam dates.
Aspiring candidates can fill the application form for VITEEE 2021 till 31 May 2021. The last date for registration might get extended further if VITEEE 2021 gets postponed. The VIT University will decide about conducting the entrance exam only after assessing the situation in June. If in case the VITEEE gets canceled due to any reason, then the admissions in B.Tech courses of the institute will be done based on the JEE Main Score of the candidates. The scores in SAT exam will also be considered for giving admission in case of cancellation of VITEEE 2021.

Last year, in 2020, Vellore institute of technology (VIT) canceled the entrance exam due to the Covid-19 pandemic whereas many other universities conducted the online-proctored test. VIT did admissions in 2020 on a merit basis. It is yet to be confirmed if the VITEEE gets postponed or canceled depending on the situation in June.
