The coronavirus pandemic has affected the studies and the entire education system adversely. Colleges and universities are shut for long now due to COVID-19 spread. In order to refrain from stagnancy in education, many institutes have started to explore the online route of teaching beyond classrooms and their own students.
The finance and investment cell of the Shri ram college of commerce will be organizing first-ever finance-based learning programs for high school students. A short online course has also been announced by the Lady Shri Ram College on COVID-19: Psychology of Human behavior.
Students will be able to connect with college teachers and experts in these certificate courses which will be conducted online.
The course initiated by the SRCC will aim to ” develop financial instincts among students through workshops and collaboration with the industry, to connect education and practice”. The fellowship for the same will begin from 15 July 2020.
The SRCC body said that as the schools are closed due to COVID-19, the students will be benefited from this fellowship program and this program will help them to break the confines of the lockdown and help them virtually connect with their peers from different parts of the country.
The concepts of finance shall be taught by the mentors and will help them to connect them to their practical application with examples. There will also be lectures for topics like technical analysis and bond evaluation as a part of the curriculum with the industry experts.
Rishabh Khetwat, a member of finance and investment cell, SRCC, said that the students across the nation are looking up to their seniors for support and guidance in such times of distress. This pandemic has also provided ample time to learn and grow apart from the repercussions. He further added that the FIC research fellowship is a peer-to-peer model that aims to create a holistic and intuitive learning environment.

DU ARSD COLLEGE ONLINE CERTIFICATE COURSES: STUDENTS ACROSS THE COUNTRY CAN ENROLL
An opportunity to explore a different set of ideas, beyond the range and horizon of the textbooks is the aim of the fellowship.
The fellowship program will be conducted fro school students and will target school students of batches 2020, 2021, and 2022 virtually for two weeks. It will start on July 15.
Certificates will be awarded to the participants on completion of the program with diligence and also proper attendance.
The certificate course at LSR would go on for three weeks and it would look to help in exploring the psychology of human behavior, relationships, and social support within the context of the COVID-19 pandemic.
