A collaborative initiative by S&T and other Academic organizations of India is Vaishwik Bharatiya Vaigyanik (VAIBHAV) Summit. this is being conducted with an intention to enable deliberation on the thought process, practices, and R&D culture in conjunction with a problem-solving approach for well-defined objectives.
The aim of the VAIBHAV summit is to bring out the comprehensive roadmap to leverage the expertise and knowledge of global Indian researchers to assist them in solving emerging challenges. A structure of association will be evolved by bringing together the Indian Overseas and Resident academicians/scientists.
To reflect the in-depth on the collaboration and cooperation instruments with academia and scientists in India is one of the aims of the summit. Creating an ecosystem of knowledge and innovation within the country via global outreach is amongst major goals.
Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi will inaugurate the virtual summit on 2nd October 2020. This will be inaugurated in the virtual presence of registered academia and researchers from all across the world. There will be month-long online deliberation sessions following the inaugural which will start on 3rd October last till 30th October 2020. This will be conducted among researchers through a webinar mode. On the occasion of Sir CV Raman Jayanti, the summit will be concluded on 7th November as planned.
To bring out mechanisms of advancements in education, research, and entrepreneurship in India as an essential element of its overall sustainable development is the aim of the summit.
