After Prelims 2022, the Union Public Service Commission is all set to conduct UPSC Mains 2022 exams. As per the official notice, the Mains examination would begin from 16th September and continue till 24th September. Students must check the dates for UPSC Mains 2022 exam and know the subject-wise schedule.
GS Paper for UPSC Mains exam
On 16th September, the commission would hold Paper 1, i.e., Essay from 9 AM to 12 PM. On the next day, GS 1 would take place from 9 AM to 12 PM and GS 2 is from 2 PM to 5 PM. GS 3 and GS 4 would be conducted in the morning and afternoon shifts respectively.

Optional Paper for UPSC Mains exam
On the other hand, Paper A of Indian Language would be conducted on 24th September from 9 AM to 12 PM. On the same day, the commission would hold Paper 2, from 2 PM to 5 PM. The next day students have to appear for Paper 1 and 2 for the optional subject, in the morning and afternoon shifts respectively.
Admit card of UPSC Mains
During the second week of August, Union Public Service Commission would release the admit card for the Mains examination. Students must check upsconline.nic.in regularly for updates. The commission holds the Mains exam for 1750 marks. This year, it conducted Prelims on 5th June and declared the result on 22nd June respectively.
