UPSC Result 2022: On 23 May 2023, Union Public State Commission (UPSC) declared the result of UPSC CIS. And, the top four positions are reserved by girls out of which 3 toppers are from Delhi University. Moreover, a total of 988 candidates are selected for the position of IAS, IPS and IFS officers.
After the result, Delhi University has once again come into focus. As rankers 1, 2 and 4 are alumni of Delhi University. Whereas, the one candidate is from IIT Hyderabad.

UPSC All India Rank 1 Ishita Kishore qualified with political science and international relations as her optional subject. Further, she has done her graduation from Delhi University Shri Ram College of Commerce (SRC) with a B.A. honours degree in Economics.
Garima Lohia has secured the All India Rank 2 in the UPC Civil Services examination. She qualifies in commerce and accountancy. She had done her graduation from one of the top colleges Kirori Mal College, DU.
Moreover, All India Rank 4 of UPSC CIS has been secured by Smriti Mishra, who appeared with Zoology as her optional subject. She completed her graduation from Delhi University’s Miranda House in Bsc.
UPSC Civil Services Commission, IAR 3 has been secured by Uma Harathi N. She completed her graduation from the Indian Institute of Technology Hyderabad (IIT) with Civil engineering. And, she qualified With Anthropology as her optional subject.
These three girls have brought glory to the name of the University of Delhi and the nation. Besides Delhi University, IIT Hyderabad also comes with honourable names. Talking to the overall ratio of shortlisted candidates, 613 are men and 320 are women.
