Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) civil services examination (CSE) 2020 results are out now. In which 761 candidates got selected by the commission for the service in different administrations.
Among the selected candidates, 5 five candidates in the top 20 graduated from Delhi University(DU). Each of them gives credit to the University for their success by clearing the competitive exam. Among those 5 candidates, dour of them cleared it in their 1st attempt. Moreover, the fifth one cleared it in the 2nd attempt.
SATYAM GANDHI (RANK 10)
Satyam Gandhi, 22, has secured 10th rank in the country. He belongs from the Dighra village of Samastipur, Bihar. Moreover, he has completed his graduation in political science last year from Dyal Singh College, University of Delhi.
He said after spending 18 years in Bihar I came to Delhi University. The DU shaped my personality. Further added that University teaches us things beyond academics. Here, I had learned a lot from my teachers and peers. The University enabled me to clear the UPSC civil services exam.

RIA DABI ( RANK 15)
Ria Dabi is a graduate of the famous Lady Shri Ram College in political science. She secured 15th rank in the country. Ria Dabi is the sister of Tina Dabi, who has topped in the UPSC in 2015.
She said that DU helped her to get a wider perspective. Moreover, said that in Delhi University we get a chance to interact with different people. Because of which I get a wider perspective of how people think. However, she wants to work in the field of education.
SARTHAK AGARWAL (RANK 17)
Sarthak Agarwal, 25, has secured all India rank 17 in the UPSC. He is a graduate of Shri Ram College Of Commerce, 2017. Then, he completed his MPhil in Economics from Oxford University, England. Moreover, he was the all-India CBSE topper in 2014.
YASH JALUKA (RANK 4)
Yash Jaluka has secured rank 4 in the UPSC mains exam 2020. He belongs from Jharkhand and has done graduation from Kirorimal College of Delhi University. Moreover, has done post-graduation from Delhi School of Economics (DSE).
He said Delhi University was hugely influential. Further added, I saw what a good public university can do. As there are students from all financial backgrounds studying and excelling in their field of study. He also said that DSE helped him a lot in exam preparations.
MAMTA YADAV (RANK 5)
Mamta Yadav, 24, graduated in BSc Physics from Hindu College in 2017. She has secured 5th rank In the UPSC in her second attempt. She says many seniors from Hindu College had cleared UPSC, earlier. That exposure helps us to understand the requirements for clearing the exam.
Moreover, She also said that people in Delhi University are from different backgrounds. So, you can talk to them while deciding your career path.
