The Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh Yogi Adityanath has decided to reopen schools in the state within 10 days. A person from the Chief Minister’s Office, CMO said that they will reopen schools only after evaluating the present pandemic situation.
The Twitter handle of CMO UP also tweeted that as per the guidelines that the Government of India issued, schools in Uttar Pradesh would reopen in the next 10 days for class 6th to 12th.

However, this decision would be taken into action only after analyzing the ongoing situation. The tweet so stated that this is not the first time schools are going to resume after the pandemic.
In October, schools reopened for class 9th and 12th students. Moreover, coaching institutes that were outside the containment zones were permitted to reopen after 15th October, 2020.
FOLLOW SOPs TO REOPEN SCHOOLS
During the reopening of schools and institutions, the State Government and Center issued some Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). This time also, schools have to follow the SOPs before and after reopening.

HOLD CLASSES IN SHIFTS TO REOPEN SCHOOLS
They have to hold classes in shifts and take care of all the norms and protocols including social distancing and proper sanitization. Haft strength of students will attend classes on one day whereas the remaining after would attend on the next day.

PRACTICAL EXAMS OF UP BOARD BEGINS TODAY
On the other hand, UP Board began their practical exams on Wednesday.
The state would conduct exams this year in phases. The first phase will begin on 3rd February and the second phase on 13th February. However, theory exams will begin on in April or May.
