The Govt has guided the Universities and Colleges to commence academic activities through on-line mode with the help of different digital platforms. However, the Universities are in confusion in the absence of govt orders promoting the students to the next semester without exams.

On June 18, Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao communicate with the officials to analyze the exam possibility in view of the lockdown and the spread of the virus. In a meeting, they have decided to promote the students. However, so far no official order has been given and the Universities are in confusion on how to move ahead.

A senior teacher stated that formally students have not been elevated to next semester. And if classes need to start from one month from now where they do start and for whom do they start?

Moreover, he added that even Recorders of certain colleges concurred that no official affirmation had sought programmed promotion.

A Registrar who wishes not to reveal his/her name said JNTU Hyderabad had just given orders promoting understudies of all semesters aside from the final semester. Different colleges can give comparable requests yet neglected to do as such without direction from the government.
