On the occasion of the third anniversary of the Unified Mobile App for New-Age Governance (UMANG), which is an endeavor of the Ministry of Electronics & Information Technology, CBSE has been confirmed as a Bronze Partner for the year.
The Central Board of Secondary Education has been established for the award based on average monthly transactions of CBSE services on UMANG which amounted to one and a half lakh per month, which is more than a lot of organizations collaborating with the application.
CBSE has been communicating board exam results through the mobile app on the UMANG outlet also and easing out the lives of citizens and maintaining integrated services fully functional among the CBSE user base across the country.
The Unified Mobile App for New-Age Governance (UMANG) is a setting designed by the government of India to provide access to the pan-India e-Gov services from the Central, State, Local Bodies, and Agencies of government on app, web, SMS, and IVR channels.
The UMANG app also allows the user to view/access multiple customer-centric services like Employees’ Provident Fund (EPF), PAN, Aadhaar, Digi locker, gas booking, mobile bill payment, electricity bill payment, etc. through one app.
