UGC Scholarship 2022: University Grants Commission, a total of four scholarship programs registration process has started. Therefore, interested and eligible candidates who have not yet applied can fill and complete the online application form at the National Scholarship Portal i.e., scholarships.gov.in.
According to the official notification, there are four scholarship schemes of the UGC. Includes, UGC Ishan Uday Scholarship for the North East Region; PG Scholarship for University Rank Holders; UGC PG Indira Gandhi Scholarship (for single girl child); and PG Scholarship for SC and ST students.

The eligible and interested candidates can apply for the UGC scholarships only till 31 October. So, the deadline for filling the application form for the scholarship is 31 October 2022. Moreover, the last date is the same for the four scholarship programs.
Now, let’s know about the eligibility and scholarship amount for four scholarship programs one by one.
Ishan Uday Scholarship of North East states whose parental annual income is less or equal to 4.5 lakh per annum. Further, the amount is Rs 5,400 per month for general degree courses. Whereas Rs 7,800 per month for technical, medical, professional, and paramedical courses.
This scholarship scheme is for girl candidates who have taken admitted in the first year of post-graduation courses in the recognised institution by UGC. Moreover, the scholarship amount is Rs 36,200 per annum.
Now, this scholarship is for the first and second-rank holders at the undergraduate (UG) level of a university and admitted in any postgraduate course. The amount that will be given as a scholarship will be Rs 3,100 per month.
This is for the candidate belonging to the category of SC/ST who is pursuing professional courses at UGC-recognised institutions. Further, the scholarship amount is 7800 per month for ME/MTech. However, Rs 4500 per month for others.
