The petition window was reopened on 24th of May. Petition form modification facility will be accessible from 31st of May to 1st of June till 9:00 pm. Early times, the ultimate date to refer for UGC NET exam was 20th of May.

How to apply for UGC NET Exam

The actual deadline to pertain for the test was 20th of May. Though, learners flooded UGC Chairman whose name is M Jagadesh Kumar with petitions for an expansion of the deadline because of specialized complications in the petition procedure. In a post on Twitter, the Chairman, M Jagadesh Kumar declared that the ultimate date to refer for the test will be expanded to 30th of May.

The modification window facility to make amendments in the submitted petition forms will be available on 31st of May and shut a day later on 1st of June
The UGC-NET exam is carried 2- times each and every year to infer the eligibility of aspirants for the posts of junior lecturers and secondary exploration fellows in colleges and universities.

It is performed by the NTA (National Testing Agency). In April of the year 2022, the UGC exam declared that the June of 2022 exam will be a merged process for December of 2021 and June of 2022. The December of 2021 examination could not be carried due to COVID-19.

However the UGC is however to declare the date of the examination, it has been announced that the exam will be carried in two shifts, from 9 of the morning to 12 of afternoon and another exam from 3 of afternoon to 6 of the evening. The test will most possibly be carried in CBT ( Computer Based Test) method.
