The University Grants Commission, UGC has released some guidelines for exams and academic calendar. One of the guidelines states an order that all the colleges and universities must complete conducting the exams of final semester students by 31st August.

Moreover, they must also complete the admission process for first-year students by 30th September. UGC said that the universities must begin the new academic session by 1st October.

UGC ORDERS FOR INTERMEDIATE STUDENTS

For intermediate students, the academic session must start as soon as possible. It can be in online, offline, or blended mode. However, the varsity must make decisions given the COVID-19 pandemic.

UGC GUIDELINES FOR REFUND OF FEES

According to the guidelines issued by UGC, the colleges and universities must refund the fees in case of cancellation of admissions or migration of students. They must carry out this guideline as a special case and fulfill it by 31st October.

The admission process of vacant seats can be completed by 31st October. Consequently, by 31st December they can accept relevant documents that students will submit.
