The Internet was surfed with a number of researches about the new UGC guidelines. It says that UGC released some guidelines related to university exams. UGC has dismissed the report of recent guidelines calling it incorrect. Consequently, the commission said fake news is running over social media platforms regarding university exams.
So, the truth is UGC has not yet issued any guidelines related to exams yet. It released a notification now which reads that the information regarding university exams is incorrect.
UGC DENIED TO CONDUCT OFFLINE EXAMS IN MAY
University Grants Commission nodded to the statement that it released some exam-related guidelines last year a number of times. Moreover, it has only mentioned a letter of request for the universities not to conduct offline exams in May.
CONDUCT EXAMS IN ONLINE MODE
Earlier, the commission requested the officials of different universities not to hold offline exams in May. It further said that universities can analyze the local conditions and conduct exams in online mode.
Moreover, the commission believes that health and safety are important than conducting or appearing for exams in the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.

So, the commission would again review this decision of exams in June and move ahead with some decisions. For now, it has not released any news regarding university exams yet.
Many central universities have postponed the semester exams of students. The COVID 19 pandemic has devastatingly affected the country. So, neither students are ready to appear for exams nor the teachers are well enough to conduct it. On the other hand, many universities are conducting online exams of students to dismiss the semester. The universities will release the official notice on their websites related to exams.
