July semester 2021: The University Grants Commission (UGC) has published a necessary notice because of the ongoing pandemic. UGC ordered to close the higher education institutions and continue studies through online platforms. As per the notice issued by the UGC, it has been recommended to study about 123 courses through online SWAYAM. Through which there will be 40 Post Graduate (PG) and 83 Under Graduate (UG) Non-Engineering MOOCs in July semester 2021.
The Commission has decided to complete large-scale open online courses (MOOCs) in the wake of the Corona Virus (COVID19) epidemic. The direct links of the list of UG, PG Course is available on the official website.

The list of 83 undergraduate (UG) and 40 postgraduate (PG) courses for the July-October semester of 2021 has been uploaded on the official website of SWAYAM swayam.gov.in.
UGC wrote a letter to all university’s VCs and college principals:
UGC wrote a letter to Vice-Chancellors of all universities and principals of colleges. In the letter, the UGC wrote that “Because of the current situation of the 2nd wave of COVID-19, colleges and universities are needed to keep in mind the safety of teachers, staff, and students. They are requested to make a maximum practice of SWAYAM courses on the online platform.”

The Commission further said, ‘In the wake of the Coronavirus epidemic, universities and colleges are requested to inform these SWAYAM courses between students and faculty through websites and various social media handles.’
