UGC has asked the Vice-Chancellors to ‘encourage’ the university students across the world to take the ‘Kamdhenu Gau Vigyan Prachar-Prasar Examination’. The exam aims to test the knowledge of people on ‘cow science’ or ‘gau-vigyan’.
It’s a national level examination which will be held on 25th February. The program will be open to students studying in primary, secondary, and even senior secondary schools and also colleges. The 1-hour long exam will take place in 12 languages except for English. Moreover, anyone from the general public can appear for the exam.
Rashtriya Kamdhenu Aayog will conduct this online ‘Kamdhenu Gau Vigyan Prachar- Prasar Examination’. This Ministry of Fisheries, Animal Husbandry, and Dairying were established in February 2019. Since then the ministry is working on circulating the multiple relevances of indigenous cows in our country.
NO PROPOSAL TO RELAX UGC NET EXAM FOR LECTURERSHIP
The economic, spiritual, agricultural, health, and environmental benefits are researched by the Rashtriya Kamdhenu Aayog (RKA). UGC thus asked the colleges and universities to actively enroll for the 25th February examination.
Jain said that the program must be promoted at all levels by the UGC. More and more students must appear for the online exam. For the same, the head of universities should encourage the students.
RKA chief Vallabhai Kathiria said in January that people are not much aware of the scientific qualities of cows and this exam will bridge this knowledge and awareness gap.
The participants of the examination will be rewarded with appreciation certificates.
