TWO WEEK REFRESHER COURSE STARTS AT DELHI UNIVERSITY’S MAITREYI COLLEGE

University of Delhi’s Maitreyi College in collaboration with Guru Angaddev Teaching and Learning Center Khalsa College has started a two-week inter-disciplinary refresher course on Emerging Technology for Teachers in Higher Education.

The program was attended by Dr. Hitma Chopra, the Principal of Maitreyi College. Dr. Himanshu Das, Director at N. IEPVD Dehradun was present as chief guest for the program. Also, Prof. AK Bakshi, Vice-Chancellor of PDM University Haryana, and Prof. Vimal, Coordinator of Teaching Learning Center were present.

Welcome Speech Delivered by College Principal

In the welcome address, the college principal Dr. Chopra said that this is India’s first and unique FDP on the subject of disability. During the Corona epidemic period, the kind of technology that has given us an option, will be the sequel to APDP.

Course to help teachers in the field of technology

This faculty enrichment program will greatly help the teachers in understanding the special needs of disabled people. Dr. Vimal, Coordinator of Guru Angad Dev Teaching and Learning Center Khalsa College, said that this refresher course is a successful endeavor in terms of how the challenges faced by teachers in the field of technology can be facilitated and made possible.

Vice-Chancellor Chairman GAD TLC & NRC Chemistry of the MHRD Professor AK Bakshi said that the refresher course being conducted on the subject of disability will work to connect the disabled with the mainstream.
