Two students Shruti Agarwal, a third-year B.Com (Hons) student, and Mayank Kedia first-year student of Hansraj College Delhi University have been awarded the prestigious EY Scholarship this year, the university said on Thursday.

Congratulating both the students of the same course, the university tweeted and said, Hearty congratulations to Shruti and Mayank! @UnivofDelhi proud of you!”

The university said that there were around 11,000 registrations received by EY Scholarship 2021 across the country. After a screening process, the top 50 participants were assigned to the final pitching round. The top 10 winners are eventually named EY Scholars.

The EY Scholarship Program acknowledges and rewards students with exemplary entrepreneurial spirit through a business case event.

The top 10 winners are awarded ₹1 lakh and an opportunity to win industry-recognized digital credentials on future-focused skills as well as a two-month internship with EY in the action line of their choice, it said.

All the students can apply for this Scholarship who are pursuing their undergraduate courses in all the colleges in India. It added that the program encompasses presenting a business case on building a better working world.
