“A Suitable Boy” was written by Vikram Seth. It had become a best-seller. The approximately 1300-page long novel is a mother’s journey of finding a suitable boy for her daughter. The novel is one of the largest novels to have ever been published in English.
The first trailer of this BBC adaptation was released today. The TV adaptation stars Ishan Khatter, Tabu, Ram Kapoor, Tanya Maniktala, and Rasika Duggal.
The trailer was released on social media today and it has already made its place in the list of trends. The trailer is following the lives of four different families. But the main story is centered around Rupa Mehra who wishes to find a suitable boy for her daughter Lata.
The series is launching on July 26, Sunday at 9 pm.
