Enactus is an international, non – profit, non – governmental organization. Enactus has made it its task to create an international network for practical supervision of projects of student groups that serve the common good and economic prospects for third parties. EN stands for Entrepreneurial, ACT stands for Action and US stands for the community. Enactus works for social entrepreneurship and through its extensive network of established chapters in various countries, it works on projects that fulfill the 17 Sustainable Development Goals.
At the end of every academic session, ENACTUS INDIA holds a competition for all the ENACTUS teams of Delhi University and other universities. All the teams participate in the competition and the one team who wins represents Enactus India at the International level. Through this society, students get an opportunity to do their best and make any product for the weaker section of the society. They get an opportunity to work with NGOs and interact with people who are into social services.
WHAT IS NSS? IS IT BENEFICIAL FOR DU FRESHERS?
NSS stands for National Service Scheme. As the name suggests, this society is made for social welfare. If DU freshers be a part of the NSS team, they will get to know about the problems faced by the lower section of society. They will get a chance to serve society and do something for such sections. The NSS of every college conducts different drives and analysis all the problems that backward section of society faces like education, sanitation, unemployment, lack of awareness.
They plan different drives through which they can help such people. Moreover, they also contribute their best to serve the nation. NSS conducts a plantation drive and literacy drives. Through NSS, students get the best opportunity to serve the nation. So, DU freshers must always learn in some way or the other. They must always live their life to the fullest. But if they get a chance to serve the society and nation, they must never back off.
DU FRESHERS MUST JOIN ANYONE CULTURAL SOCIETY OF YOUR CHOICE

FIC, also known as finance and investment cell educates students about financial and investment terms. Almost all the DU colleges have finance and investment cells and it is one of the most popular and active societies in the DU circuit. So, the cell deals with the financial complexity of the corporate world. This cell in different colleges holds different competitions related to finance. Students who have a keen interest in finance and want to know about investing and the financial market in a deep manner can be a part of this society.
Students would be able to know about the financial complexity and understand the emerging challenges. So, DU freshers who are interested in finance can be a part of this society. It is not at all compulsory that students who are pursuing finance-related courses can only be a part of this society. Anybody from the college, irrespective of their course can be a part of finance and investment cell and win different competitions with cash prizes.
