TET EXAM: THERE MAY BE CHANGES IN EXAM, NCTE SOUGHT REPORT FROM STATES

Under the National Educational Policy, NEP changes will be made in the Teachers Eligibility Test, TET (Teachers Eligibility Test, TET) exam. The National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) was given the responsibility of making an action plan regarding the change in the TET exam. The council has demanded the report related to the examination till 15 February from those states where this exam was conducted recently.

NCTE HAS SOUGHT A REPORT ON SEVERAL POINTS:

The NCTE has inquired about the pattern of questions asked in the test and the information of the students involved. Along with the number of successful aspirants, reports have been sought from several states on many other points. Significantly, in the new education policy, the emphasis has been laid on the training program of teachers. As per the National Education Policy, this exam is also to be performed for the appointment of teachers in secondary and higher secondary schools.

According to the news published in Jagran.com, guidelines will be issued by the NCTE regarding the TET exam under the new education policy. After this, the states will have to improve the rules of school education. In the selection cycle of teachers, it is mandatory to follow the guidelines issued by NCTE.

THIS RULE HAS ALREADY BEEN MADE MANDATORY:

For the appointment of teachers, it is mandatory to pass the eligibility test and this rule has been implemented since 2010. In Jharkhand, so far, this exam has been conducted only twice. The first time in the year 2012 and the time in the year 2015, while this examination is to be held every year. At the same time, the rules are being revised for the teacher eligibility exam for the 3rd time in the state.
